Girls not eating their five-a-day, research reveals
Results of a survey, released today, show that girls between 11 and 18 consume on average just 2.7 of the recommended five portions of fruits and vegetables a day.
This is the conclusion of the National Diet and Nutrition Survey, conducted for the period 2008-10.
However there is help at hand for parents trying to improve their daughter’s five-a-day habits.
