Need help losing weight – get it from your iPhone

Dieters who need that extra bit of help and motivation, can now get everything they need from a new app from Nutracheck.

Sometimes it’s difficult to keep track of calorie intakes and stay motivated but the app can help with both, thanks to its barcode reader which stores your food products and the access to the slimming community which comes with the monthly fee.

Other apps which are currently on the market use US foods and weights, while this one has a UK food database with over 100,000 different foods.

The App will even tell users how many calories they have left for the day on the home screen, without having to open it as well as the calorie counter and food diary.

It also gives users access to the slimming community to read and post messages and they can also record their weekly weigh ins with weight loss progress then shown in a motivating graph.

Tim Vryenhoef NutraTech MD said "We wanted to make our calorie counter as simple to use as possible. You can find and add food with just a couple of clicks which means you're more likely to keep your food diary up to date. The more accurately you keep it, the more successful your weight loss will be".

The app is free to members of Nutracheck.co.uk, while non-members can try the free 'Lite' version or subscribe for £5.99 per month.
